CREATIVE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (REMOTE, NASHVILLE-BASED)

Favorite Records is looking for a part-time Creative Operations Assistant who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment—someone who finds satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This role helps maintain structure within our project management workspace and assists with day-to-day executive and organizational tasks.

The ideal candidate is proactive, systems-minded, and calm under pressure—someone who loves order, clarity, and creative collaboration. Must be highly organized, communicative, and confident balancing multiple priorities while supporting a small but growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize projects, tasks, and documentation in Notion (our central project management workspace)

  • Support basic website updates and content management in Squarespace and Dropbox

  • Assist with executive tasks, scheduling, research, and general administrative organization

  • Help document and improve internal workflows and processes

  • Coordinate vendor communication, file management, and shared resources

  • Support digital and creative operations, ensuring systems remain efficient and up to date

  • Handle occasional in-person tasks in Nashville, such as shipments, local errands, etc. 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Music Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems quickly

  • Bonus: Familiarity with Notion and/or Squarespace

  • Experience or interest in the creative, agency, or music industries

Position Details

  • Remote/Nashville-based, part-time 1099 contract

  • 20–25 hours per week

    • Approximately 250–300 contract hours in initial three-month term

  • Compensation: $20-25/hour

  • Some tasks may require occasional in-person support in Nashville, TN

  • Opportunity to grow into a longer-term or full-time position for the right fit
